Our family of volunteers comes from every mainstream Christian denomination. All we ask is that you acknowledge Jesus Christ as the only Son and Word of God, that you know Him as your Lord and personal Saviour and that you are committed, by the grace of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit, to follow His way of love.
In this ministry, we don't seek to preach or persuade callers or emailers of our point of view. We seek only to listen compassionately to their distress and help them to bring their situation to the Lord in prayer.
WHATEVER YOUR LOCATION
We have listeners and e-Listeners from all over the United Kingdom, from the north of Scotland to Cornwall, from East Anglia to South Wales. We operate online and from home, so your location is no barrier to volunteering. All you need is a landline or mobile, a pc or tablet and an internet connection.
We are also now recruiting volunteers from around the world to join our email ministry as 'e-Listeners'. Under the Lord's guidance and blessings, New Kapporet is fast becoming a truly INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY.

Listening to others, whether on a call or via email, and supporting them in prayer is something that, with a little preparation, every Christian can do. Whatever your state of health, physical ability, age or situation, you have the potential to become a Listener with us, and to represent to those who contact us the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
